Group Programs
We run a variety of group programs, each focusing on different ages and concerns.
Circle of Security (CoS) Parenting Program
Circle of Security Parenting® (COSP)
is a research-based program that focuses on strengthening the bond between
parents and children to improve child development.
This program has been effective in improving attachment between parents and children, reducing behaviour problems in children, and promoting positive parenting practices. (Next workshop Jan 2026)
Secret Agent Society (SAS)
Secret Agent Society is an innovative and award-winning social skills program for children
aged eight to twelve years. The program is designed for children with autism, anxiety, or ADHD,
but may benefit any child who is experiencing difficulty with social skills. The program uses
computer games in which children are detectives who must unravel the mystery of social interactions
using clues. This program runs for twelve sessions with each session lasting for two hours and
includes a thirty-minute parent feedback component each week
(next workshop summer holidays Dec–Jan).
The following other programs are periodically run when we have suitable enquiries and trained facilitators available.
Girls Social Club
The Girls Social Club is a fun group program for girls aged between 6 and 12 years. The workshops aim to improve social skills, emotional regulation, friendships, coping, self-esteem, and goal setting.
The workshops run on Saturdays for four weeks and have up to six girls per group (not currently running).
Boys Mindful Mavericks
Boys Mindful Mavericks is a group program for boys aged between 10 and 14 years. The workshops foster the boys' self-awareness, self-regulation, social skills, and emotional regulation.
The program runs on Saturdays for four weeks (not currently running).
Life Skills League
The Life Skills League group program is designed for girls aged 13 to 16. The workshops assist the girls in building social confidence, self-esteem, and emotional awareness. It also works through boundary setting and how to foster resilience so that the girls are better equipped to deal with the challenges of being a teenager.
The program runs on Saturdays for four weeks (not currently running).
